The Faillaces lived in Fort Lauderdale until 1984, when they moved to Avon Park, Fla. 1 He was the last living charter member of the Somers Volunteer Fire Department, of which he was once an assistant fire chief. Mr. Faillace was an active member of the Westchester Volunteer Firemens Association and Westchester County Fire Chief Association before moving to Florida in 1946. Once in Florida, Mr.

Faillace joined the Oakland Park Volunteer Fire Department and organized the Broward County Volunteer Fire Association, the Broward County Chiefa Association and the Broward County Fire District Association. In his spare time, he organised seven different volunteer fire companies in Florida. In addition to his wife of Avon Park, Mr. Faillace is survived by two sods, Charles N. Faillace of Granite Springs and Karl R.

Faillace of Bainbridge, two daughters, Margaret Smith of Port St Lucie, and Karen Hammond of Avon Park; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. Josephine Manx Westchester resident Josephine Maro, a Hawthorne resident and a longtime White Plains resident, died Wednesday at the Cedar Lane Rehabilitation Center in Waterbury, Conn. She was 77. Shis, had lived in White Plains all her life until moving to Hawthorne three years ago.

Mrs. Maro was born March 21, 1917, in White Plains to James Joseph Pierucci and Mary Angela Rossi Perucd. On 'June 7, 1942, she and Anthony Maro were' married in White Plains. He died in 1988. Mrs.

Maro was a member of Assumption Church in White Plains and the seniors group there. She worked as wai tress for the White. Plains. school district and B. Altman's in White Plains.
