Nanuet, and husband of the former Miss Patricia A. Molii-cone of 9 Wenzel stony Point, was promoted to his present rank while serving at the U.S. Naval Disciplinary Command in Portsmouth N.H. His promotion was based on time in service and rank, mil. itary appearance, and his knowledge of selected military subjects.

H. Zirps of 16 AHlme Park, Nyack, has reported for duty on the staff of the commander of the Atlantic Fleet Cruiser-Destroyer Force in Newport, R.I. Comprising nearly 200 ships and 55,000 men, the Atlantic Fleet Cruiser-Destroyer Force is the largest naval surface type command in the Lt. Commander Sips will be the force antisubmarine officer in the readiness and training department of the staff. England.

Arirman Kent is a 16 graduate of Spring Valley High School. Airman Thomas J. Keenan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James J.

Keenan of 10 E. Palisades Nanuet, has completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex. He is now assigned as a security policeman with a unit of the Strategic Air Command at Davis Monthan AFB, Ariz. Airman Keenan is a graduate of Pearl River High School. Navy Lt.

Commander Chris-tos Zirps, son of Mrs. Thomas Garnerville, was graduated recently from eight weeks of recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Airman 3-C Douglas B. Kent, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Robert E. Kent Sr. of 62 Collins Spring Valley, has been graduated from a U.S. Air Force technical school at Sheppaiti AFB, Tex. Ho was trained as a medical services specialist, and has been assigned to a unit of the U.S.

Air Force in Europe at Chicksands RAF Station, the former Bngitte Tlioi-mann of Mount View Valley Cottage, is aboard the nuclear-powered submarine USS Theodore Roosevelt on its 19th Polaris Patrol with the Atlantic Submarine Force. Army Pvt. Bruce M. Bre-goff, IS, son of Mr. and Mrs.
